On behalf of Food Tour New Mexico, we'd like to welcome to the Land of Enchantment! Here at Food Tour New Mexico, we provide progressive walking food tours through the heart of historic downtown Santa Fe and Albuquerque that will provide a peek into our culture and hidden delectable gems.
Your local guide will greet you at the start of the tour and lead you on a 2.5-hour tour where you can expect to sight see, learn, eat, drink, get full, and create a truly unique New Mexican experience. All of our tours include drink pairings, non-alcoholic drinks, and 4 to 5 food stops while exposing you to various historical sites and points of interest.

I was in Santa Fe New Mexico and raised on grandma's, aunties and especially mom's beans, Chile, and caldos. I grew to love our festivals, the downtown area, and the food in our culinary Dreamland here in Santa Fe. I received my Masters from the University of New Mexico where the culture, history, and beauty help me to celebrate my hometown. I look forward to sharing it with you! Bienvenidos!

Growing up in Santa Fe, I was immersed in food, art and the New Mexican culture for as long as I can remember. My family would come in to town to visit and my mother and grandmother would take us around Santa Fe to great food, sipping well crafted margaritas, and enjoy the beautiful history and sites that my city has to offer. This inspired a life eager to share my amazing state with the world.
Joe Gallegos enjoys food, history, and talking to people. He grew up in Santa Fe, NM, and holds a BA from Amherst College in history, where he also guided campus tours. When he isn't giving a tour, he is most likely involved in some sort of performance based-activity. He is active in the local film and theater scenes, and has worked internationally as a performer. He prefers red over green, firm over soft, and cold over hot.
Bernadette Peña is an active Santa Fe Arts Commissioner and teacher at Capital High School. She participates in community theater and can often be found acting in local productions.
